Welcome to the SOAKS SUPER 14 TIPPING COMPETITION 2008
Below is a brief outline of the rules of the competition.
To be involved call, email or see down at the club either Joey (0400191049 joe.sanderson@rpsecos.com.au) or Greg Harman (0402224405, greg.harman@zettaserve.com) and register your interest before Friday 15th Feb 2008.
You must be a member, player or social club member to be able to play.
An administrator will then email you with your login details and a brief "How to Tip" list and
the rest is up to you.
Once you have registered you will need to arrange to pay your tipping fee and initial membership fee by the due date otherwise you will be blocked form further tipping.
COST
Tipping Entry Fee- To be a part of the "Soaks 14 Tipping Competition" you must be Member of Associates RUFC (Life, Playing, or Social Member) and you must pay $20 by Cash/Cheque by Noon on Friday 29th February. Payments are to be made to Lariane, Joey or Browny.
Membership - to be a Member of Associates RUFC you must have at least paid a $20 Social Membership Fee by Noon on Friday 23rd February. You will need to register as a social member as a bare minimum. Players Fees will set in the near future and the $20 Membership Fee is included within the playing fees.
All monies, Fees and Tipping Entry are non-refundable.
GUIDELINES
Updating: - You can update or change your tips whenever you like before the Tipping Deadline.
It may be advisable to tip a few rounds in advance so you don't miss a game.
Tipping Competition runs from Round 1 to the Grand Final of the Super 14 Competition.
All tips must be made online at www.associatesrugby.com.au
(No Verbal, Fax, SMS, Email or Written tips will be accepted).
Tipping Deadline: - 30 mins before each game kick-off
SCORING
5 points (pts) for each win you pick correctly.
3 bonus pts for correct margin - if the win is also picked.
16 pts awarded for a draw during round robin play
Semi Finals & Finals go to extra time so no draw available.
Double points awarded for semi's & final games
Eg - 10pts for win, 6pts for margin
PRIZES
There will be a weekly prize for the Top Tipster (in the case of a tie, the weekly prize jackpots to the next round). There will be cash prizes at the end of the Super 14 Competition. These will be advised once we have final tipster numbers. Please keep checking these rules for updates on the prizes.
HOW TO TIP?
Below we have picked the Blues to beat the Hurricanes by 1-8 points.
NOTE: The game location & game kick off time, local time, plus the deadline by which this game needs to be tipped against.
The update date is the time that you last saved your tip.
