Q: I want to play rugby in Perth. Why should I play with Soaks? A: At Soaks we aim to accomodate players of all standards. We have a variety of grades, both junior and senior, all of which are backed by quality coaching and administration. Soaks has a long history of good results in all grades in WA Rugby. Soaks Rugby provides an excellent social environment in true rugby style!
Q: My son wants to play rugby, can he come down to Associates? A: The junior rugby program at Soaks is proving to be increasingly popular. We aim to develop our club juniors through quality coaching, focussing on skills development. Retention of players through to the senior grades is important and we will welcome all new players with this ethos in mind.
Q: Since the Western Force have hit town I've become interested in rugby. Can I come and watch Associates games? When are the games on? A: Everyone is welcome to come down to our clubhouse and enjoy watching the rugby. It is free to enter and all home games are catered. Please see the website for a draw of games (dates and times) and come on down to experience great WA club rugby!
Q: How many grades do you have at Associates? A: Soaks has 11 junior grades ranging from under 11's through to under 17's. We have 2 colts (u19's) sides and this year Soaks will field 6 senior grade teams.
Q: Are the coaches at Associates qualified? A: All of the coaches at Soaks are qualified to at least Level 1. We are running a program to develop our coaching depth by encouraging coaches to attend training to increase their qualifications.
Q: I've played rugby for years and i'm looking to have a very social run. Can Soaks accomodate me? A: Yes, this year our 6th grade team will be relatively social. You will be made to feel at home and will enjoy our social environment.
